Bollywood Christmas Guarantee and General Terms and Conditions (Trade and Customised Orders)
The following conditions of sale apply to contracts made with J.C. Household Ltd t/a Bollywood Christmas. All quotations are made and orders accepted, subject to the following conditions of sale. No conditions or terms of the customer shall apply. No addition to or modification of these conditions shall have any effect unless such addition, alteration or modification is expressly accepted by J.C. Household Ltd in writing and signed by a duly authorised representative.
Selling our products online is allowed and we can provide cut out images to sell under our brand name. Any of our products sold online must not be discounted by more than 15% of our RRP.
Unless otherwise indicated, all prices exclude the cost of delivery within the United Kingdom and delivery charges will be added to the invoice where applicable. J.C. Household Ltd
shall be responsible for the cost of insurance during carriage within the United Kingdom. The customer shall pay all other duties, charges and taxes (if any) chargeable in respect of the supply of the goods to the customer.
Prices quoted by J.C. Household Ltd are for the quantities and on the terms stipulated in the quotation and shall be subject to variation if the quantities or terms in question are in any way amended. Unless otherwise indicated all prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. Unless indicated stated export prices do not include freight costs outside the United Kingdom and these will be added to the invoice.
Unless otherwise indicated delivery shall take place at the agreed destination within the UK except if the customer collects the goods, delivery shall take place where the goods are loaded on the collection vehicle. In the case of export orders, unless otherwise agreed, delivery shall take place at a destination in the UK appointed by the customer and agreed by J.C. Household Ltd.
In all cases delivery dates quoted by J.C. Household Ltd are subject to confirmation by J.C. Household Ltd at the time an order is accepted. J.C. Household Ltd will use its best endeavours to deliver the goods promptly or in accordance with the terms stated, but delivery items or dates (whether confirmed or not), must be treated as estimates only, and J.C. Household Ltd shall be under no liability whatsoever or any future or delay in despatch or delivery not for the loss or damage whatsoever arising thereof.
The customer shall not be entitled to reject the goods by reason only of short delivery.
Invoices for goods supplied must be paid in full before delivery of those items, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
1.1 If anything you receive from us is faulty or damaged we will fully refund the cost, reimbursing the postage if we requested its return, providing we are notified within 7 days after you receive the goods.
1.2 To exercise your right to a refund for faulty goods, you must give us written notice, by hand, post or email, giving us details of the goods ordered and the nature of the fault. Notification by phone is not enough.
1.3 To qualify for a refund the product must be i) found to be actually faulty ii) in otherwise "as new" condition.
1.4 You will receive a full refund within 7 days of us receiving the faulty goods (or if agreed by us, photographs of them) and accepting them as such. Please note that once we have processed your credit it can take up to 5 working days for this to appear on your statement.
Cancellation of order
1.1 If you cancel your order after 1.4.14 you are liable to a 75% cancellation fee of the total order amount, excluding VAT and delivery charge.
1.1 If we have made an error with your order we will correct it within 14 days.
1.2 To exercise your right to a refund or replacement for missing goods, you must give us written notice, by hand, post or email, giving us details of the goods ordered and the exact nature of error with the order. Notification by phone is not enough.
1.3 Similarly if the error with the order is discovered before it is posted to you, you will be given written notice, by hand, post or email giving you details of the goods ordered and the exact nature of the error with the order.
1.4 If there is an error with the order, or the goods are found to be faulty, you will have the choice whether you wish the stock to be replaced or its cost refunded to you. Due to stock availability we may not be able to replace all missing or faulty stock but we might be able to offer some replacements, which you would need to agree upon in writing. If you choose a refund, you will receive a full refund of the missing stock within 7 days of your written notification of such. Please note that once we have processed your credit it can take up to 5 working days for this to appear on your statement.
